这是同位语从句的用法么?
如果我这么说可以么——I came across a report in the newspaper the other day ,which said that more than three fifths of the Chinese school children make progress in(是用in么?) their grades by having remediation.

定语从句中,
make progress in表示在…上面取得进步(或进展),这是没错的.
不过,后面,by having remediation,不太好,不如用：extra tuition （额外指导,就是指补习.）
remediation的补习,主要指对于所犯的错的一种“矫正；补救”,跟我们的‘补习’,含义不一样.
