They are both important. However, in my opinion, friendship is much more important. It is difficult to find the true friendship, and true friends will be there for you for the whole life. If your lover ask you to choose between love and friendship, you just choose your friend. The true lover would never give you shuch kind of questoin.

Friendship and Loveness are different things. In my opinion, we can't compare those two things with each other. Friends strictly speaking, is a part of loveness. We will enjoy friendship almost all of our life. This kind of love is so everlasting ,sometimes even longer than the love between husband and wife...While after second thinking, I feel I am in need of love.

On one hand, we live in a world where there is full of people who we have to meet every day. From the one day when we come to the social life, such as the kindergarten life, we have to get along with the pupils around us. At that time, friendship is a must in our early life. Until the days in the college life, we fail to live without friendship. On the other hand, love plays an indispensible role in our twenties, or even younger life. At that time, we need a male or female to fall in love, to enter into marriage and then to raise children. Therefore our life becomes a whole life.
