education有多重意思 是否可数也要看它的具体情况
一般来说作为一个泛指的概括性概念来说 没有具体所指 就是不可数 比如“教育是人所必需的.”这里的教育没有区分“这个教育”“那个教育”的必要.
如果是特指的概念,比如你的这个句子里的education可以理解为“上学受教育”,特指句中children所需要但是parents不能负担的受教育机会,就是可数了.
