I would like to be a policeman when I grow up. I can catch thieves and help make our city a safe place. My father has been a policeman for quite a few years. He is a good policeman and he likes his job very much. I want to learn from him. I will study hard to be a good policeman in the future.
My favourite city
Shanghai is my favourite city. It is an international city. I like it best because of the following reasons. Firstly, I was born in Shanghai and I have lived here for more than 10 years. Secondly, it is quite convenient to live in Shanghai. We can buy almost everything here. Thirdly, there are lots of places for the tourists to visit. Fourthly, Shanhgai is famous for its local snacks. Last but not least, pople in Shanghai are very friendly. So I like Shanghai best.
My parents’ jobs
My father is a cook. He cooks food for people. He has been a cook since1997. He has been a cook for quite a few years. My mother is a secretary. She types letters and answers the phones. She has been a secretary since 2004. She has been a secretary for several years. Both my father and my mother like their jobs very much. I would like to be a postman when I grow up. I can catch thieves and help keep our city safe. I think I will be a good policeman in the future.
